Scheduling in advance is recommended, but spontaneity will be honored if I have the time available.  Massage begins at appointment time.  Please come early enough to complete or update client information, pay for your massage and undress.  Thank you for understanding as I make a living by reserving time for my clients.  I make every effort to schedule enough time for each appointment so as to be on time for yours.  Last minute cancellations and no-shows affect me significantly, so I ask for your consideration and request notification as soon as possible.

Appointments

What to expect on your first appointment:  You will begin by filling out a form with general health questions, since there are some conditions for which massage therapy is inappropriate.   You will undress to your comfort and modesty.  Your massage will take place on a table designed for stability and comfort.  My work is enhanced with the use of hot stones, hot towels, steam and essential oils.

Draping Policy:  Clients are draped with sheets, towels, and blankets to provide warmth and modesty.  The part of your body that will be undraped is the part I am working on.  Please communicate with me if you are uncomfortable with the draping procedure. 

Informed Consent:  It is your right to refuse any massage procedure before or during the massage therapy session.  Communicate with me if you are uncomfortable in any way.  Massage therapists follow policies; therapists do not diagnose and do not perform spinal manipulations.
